Telangana: CM KCR Orders to Schools not to hike fee for this academic year
Minister of Education P Sabitha Indra Reddy on Monday warned of strict action by private school management, including derecognition, if they violate the directive of the state government asking schools not to increase the fee for the academic year 2020-21
In a meeting here on Monday, the Minister of Education instructed the Education department authorities to ensure that the cabinets decision to advise management to refrain from revising the fee is strictly enforced. Reddy also warned the school management that, aside from the usual tuition charge, they would not resort to charging any more fees. Given the severity of the situation due to the lockout, school management would make it easier for parents to pay the tuition fee monthly, she said.In the meantime, the government has agreed to broadcast wireless classes for students in classes VI to X through T-SAT. The minister of education also arranged a meeting with Education department officials and T-SAT.
