IIT JEE Mains Notification 2019
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) will be organized by the NTA from the main 2019. This examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018.
JEE is applicable for participation in the main NIT, IIIT and CFTI, though the Central Seat Allocation Board is subject to the condition that the candidate should have received at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or in the 12th standard Top 20% exam conducted by related boards. Eligibility marks in the 12th standard examination for SC / ST candidates will be 65%.
Eligibility criteria:
Essential subject combination in the eligibility examination for admission to B.E./B.Tech. And B arc / b. Scheme courses in NIT, IIIT, and other CFTIs are as follows: –

The above policy can be adopted by other technical institutions which participate in consultation through JSAA / CSAB. If the state elects to enter the engineering colleges affiliated to state universities, then the state can prepare a different rank list based on the criteria set by them.
Age Limit:
- The date of birth should fall on or after 1st October 1994.
- For SC/ST & PWD candidates, the DOB should fall on or after 1st October 1989.
Attempt Limit:
- Candidates can attempt for maximum three times for the JEE Mains exam.
- Attempt limit is the same for all the categories.
- For JEE Advanced, candidates can appear for the maximum of two consecutive years.

Important points to remember when filling JEE main application 2019:
The requirement of Aadhaar card will be mandatory for filling the application form.
Candidates need to apply online for the JEE Main 2019 exam.
JEE main application will be issued from 2019 September 1, 2018 (January examination).
Candidates will have to upload a passport size photograph and images of the candidate and parents/guardian’s signature scanned.
Photograph dimensions should be 3.5 x 4.5 cm and the signature size should be 3.5 x 1.5 cm.
The images should be in JPG or JPEG format.
Many candidates will be rejected by one candidate.
There is no provision to send the hard copy of the application.
