Fake Job racket busted @ Hyderabad ; Police arrested 4 member gang
Hyderabad: The LB Nagar Special Operations Team (SOT) on Tuesday arrested a four members gang for allegedly running a fake job racket & cheating unemployed youth.
According to police the accused were identified as V A Srikanth (34), K Sanjay (50), B Gouri Shankar (50) & D Umadevi (44). The gang through their friends and relatives spread a word about jobs in various departments including railway jobs and demanded Rs 16 lakh from each candidate.
The accused took Rs 5 lakh as advance from the victims (candidates) on the pretext of securing the job position. The gang send fake emails & call letters after obtaining the advance from the candidates, and asking them to report at their respective departments.
The accused took Rs 8 lakh from two victims ( Who filed a complaint with the police later) and took them to Delhi in the name of a Training programme for the railway job. When the accused. When the accuse where searching for them (job seekers) in Delhi also, the complainants got suspicious.
On reaching Hyderabad, the victims filed a complaint. Along with seized material the police handed over the four accused to SHO Chaitanyapuri for further action.
