Telangana: Until a day ahead of the closure of applications for
the police recruitment, as many as 6,249 lakh applications were received till the evening of Friday. The online applications will be closed after the midnight of Saturday.

Around 1,75,357 applications have been received for a post of sub-inspector or equivalent.
For constable posts, a total of 5,30,460 applications have been received.
A total of 6,24,982 applications have been received for 18,428 posts of various cadres through Telangana police recruitment board, according to a press release.
